Quantico can wait, Kashibai is going to occupy Priyanka Chopra's mind and life for the next few days.
SpotboyE had told you that the actress would be returning to Mumbai to shoot for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani (Priyanka Returning To Mumbai, October 4).
In the film, which has Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in title roles, Priyanka plays Kashibai, Bajirao's wife.
As the actress landed at Mumbai airport at 1 am today, a huge crowd gathered to meet and greet her.
Apart from fans and admirers, PeeCee was also thronged by the media. She looked fresh and cheerful, totally unaffected by the long hours on flight.
Though back home, it's all work and no rest for Priyanka. She will have to rush to Wai, where Ranveer and Deepika are awaiting her to shoot the climax of the historical romance.
She will also take a look at the final cut of the much-talked about song 'Deewani Mastani', which features Deepika and her in a dance-off. The number was choreographed by Remo D'Souza this summer.
Priyanka's stay in India will be short; she will soon return to the US, to continue shooting for American television thriller series, Quantico.
The Mary Kom star's portrayal of FBI recruit Alex Parrish, the protagonist of the series, has already won her rave reviews (Quantico Review: Priyanka Makes A Gloriously Sexy Debut On American Primetime TV, October 3).
